Honoring Derek Dandridge, also known as Specs
Derek Dwight Dandridge was more than just a photographer; he was a storyteller, a community activist, and a beloved son of Detroit. About the 3D Business Grant

First Place: $500 - to propel your creative project forward

Second Place: $250 worth of business services - including website creation, email marketing, or business registration, to give your creative pursuits a professional edge.

Eligibility Requirements
To be a part of this legacy of creativity and community impact, here’s what you need to bring to the table:

Creative Discipline: You're deeply involved in photography, videography, or another creative field.

Detroit Residency: Your heart and home are in Detroit or its surrounding areas.
​

Portfolio Submission: Show us what you’ve got! Your portfolio should scream creativity and skill.

Community Impact Proposal: Tell us how your work will light up Detroit. What’s your vision for making a difference?

Mentorship Agreement: Ready to give back? As part of this grant, you’ll either mentor or be mentored, fostering growth within our creative community.
